Navigating Single Touch Payroll Requirements with SAP Payroll

Single Touch Payroll is a reporting change for Australian employers legislated by the ATO. As of July 1st 2018, employers with 20 or more employees are now required to report payments such as salaries and wages, pay as you go (PAYG) withholding and superannuation information from their payroll solution each time they pay their employees.


In order to help SAP payroll customers comply with the legislation, we have developed a STP solution certified for SAP Payroll that integrates with the ATO to automatically transfer the required data at each pay event. The solution simply requires a payroll update as well as a license for a Cloud Integration service called Process Integration (PI).
